I have been a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Washington since 1977. My professional experience includes work at the University of Washington and as a Clinical Psychologist providing psychotherapy and other psychological services at:

  • A clinic specializing in treating stress and physical conditions caused by stress
  • A hospital rehabilitation unit
  • My private practice

People who come to see me are usually experiencing feelings of anxiety or depression. They may worry too much, be excessively irritable or upset, lack energy, feel apathetic, and may have trouble sleeping.

Clients come to therapy because they feel overwhelmed by their problems and emotions. They want assistance to learn how to better understand and cope with the difficult issues in their lives.  I work with client to foster a better understanding of their situations and to develop tools for coping with the difficult issues and emotions in their lives

I also specialize in working with couples seeking help for the many difficulties and challenges of marriage and relationships.
